Walsall housing Group Head Quarters

Walsall housing group hq Social housing landlord Walsall Housing Group chose John Sisk & Son to build its new headquarters.  The new office, within walking distance of the town centre, is designed to improve the customer experience by bringing colleagues and services together and enable long term savings to be made.

This design and build scheme involves the transformation of a split level brownfield site into a landmark four storey office development.

Enabling works for the scheme required the demolition of an existing building and site clearance prior to starting construction.

The scheme features a curtain wall façade designed to resemble trees within the glazing.  Apart from being attractive in itself, the design will also provide solar shading to enhance the office environment and reduce cooling costs. Digital Europe provided Bems controls including interfacing with the Mitsubishi VRF systems, Photo Voltaic Systems, Rain Water Harvesting, Fire systems and Generator systems monitoring. Utilities metering is brought back to a central server based BeMS graphics package along with all plant status and alarm monitoring.

Chichester University (LRC)

Chichester University (LRC)Digital Europe were employed to install a complete BeMS package to the new integrated Learning Resource Centre (LRC)  situated in an environmentally-friendly building at the heart of the Bognor Regis campus.  Installation covered LTHW via eco friendly Biomass Boiler system , Natural Ventilation, utilities monitoring for future aM&T and consolidation of existing site wide BeMS controls. A central graphics package gives the University full interrogation of the LRC controls and alarm monitoring.

RSA Chelmsford

RSA ChelmsfordDigital Europe were specified to upgrade their existing dilapidated BMS system encompassing 4 floors of VAV and CAV systems and 2 plant room control panels. All works were carried out during night time with no disruption to the ongoing day to day RSA business. Energy saving software was created in line with the consultants input at various points and completed on time. Recently we have been invited to integrate new upgraded chillers and AC systems serving data areas on to the new BeMS.

 

Data Centre Birmingham (Client withheld)

Construction of a new data hall and upgrades to existing equipment gave Digital Europe the opportunity to expand their experience to offer complete BeMS  controls and monitoring through integration with Close control air conditioning, free cooling chilled water systems, DX close control air conditioning, Fresh air supply and extract, FM200 Fire suppression gas extract , Generator system, Mains / generator change over system, PDU Panels, UPS (Uninterruptable power supply) systems and Environmental monitoring service.

Group alarms were created within software and integrated into the Tridium system for remote alarm monitoring in the USA. Complete point to point testing was carried out to the US to ensure  every alarm was received.

Additionally, Digital Europe were asked to visit our clients sites to install, commission and test access and Environmental alarms from data centres throughout Europe. These were also successfully tested back to the US.
